FN M249S Para Features

The M249S PARA was designed for airborne, armored infantry and close quarters combat (CQC) operations with a shorter barrel and collapsible buttstock. It retains all of the features of the FN M249 SAW and can be field-converted back to the standard model configuration in just 30 seconds.
The FN M249S PARA is a semi-automatic belt-fed rifle that is part of FN America’s Military Collector Series. It is a classic interpretation of the firearms that FN designed and sold to the U.S. military. The FN M249S PARA model has a collapsible stock that locks up solid and takes some force to stow, reducing the overall length by 8 inches. It features a wide, smooth, curved trigger shoe, with a 6-pound pull and a large crossbolt safety for thumb activation.
