1911 Custom TLE II Features
To mark the 200th Anniversary of the State of Ala¬bama, Kimber has issued a run of Anniversary TLE Custom II pistols to mark the occasion. These are among the first mod¬els offered to wear the Troy, Alabama Kimber location mark¬ings. Each Alabama Anniversary Special Edition carry a num¬ber of special features including: Special serial number run prefix for Kimber Alabama, Kimpro II finished Tru-Tan™ frame and Satin black slide, the Alabama State Flag with the dates 1819-2019 are engraved on the right side, and the state motto “We Dare Defend our Rights” in Latin text is engraved on the left side of the slide. Both engravings are then filled with red Kimpro® II to make the engraving stand out to mark this special 200th Anniversary.
