This American-made Marlin 1895 Trapper is a great and easily-maneuvered lever-action rifle for hunting and range applications. With this new release of the 1895 Marlin, you can expect the same traditional, time-honored design combined with Ruger’s trusted reputation for high-quality, reliable firearms. Improved manufacturing processes have created tighter tolerances on Marlin rifles, resulting in an ultra-reliable, attractive rifle. Multi-layered quality control procedures, including daily function and accuracy audits and multiple inspections, help create high-quality products you can depend on.
This Marlin 1895 Trapper rifle has a variety of features that provide an exceptional shooting experience. The factory-mounted Skinner sights feature a front blade sign and an adjustable rear peep sight for easy target acquisition. The receiver, lever, and trigger guard plate are CNC machined from 416 stainless steel forgings. The Marlin 45-70 Trapper also has laminate stock and forend that feature a checkered texture for better grip and handling in every condition. The gun also features a 5-round tube mag and an 11/16″-24 pattern threaded barrel with a factory-installed thread protector, built to accommodate a muzzle brake and other barrel accessories.
