To squeeze every last ounce of laser like accuracy out of the M48 action, Nosler added a PROOF Research match grade carbon fiber wrapped barrel to the Model 48 Long Range Carbon. PROOF Research uses state-of-the-art manufacturing and advanced cutting-edge materials to produce some of the most accurate barrels on the market. This innovative barrel design features an optimized PROOF Research Sendero profile and a 5/8×24 TPI threaded muzzle for your preferred muzzle device. PROOF Research’s pioneering technologies give you a lighter stiffer barrel with better heat dissipation than stainless steel which translates to increased accuracy and better shot-to-shot consistency. The rifle is then installed in an industry leading lightweight carbon fiber Manner stock with pillar beading to ensure that you have a superb rock solid platform. This top-of-the-line weather resistant stock has an elevated cheek piece to line-up your eye perfectly with your favorite long range precision optic. Textured molded grip surfaces with palm swells ensure a no-slip grip in any conditions. The M48 receiver is drilled and tapped to use readily available Remington 700 two piece scope bases. Nosler also included a crisp clean Timney precision trigger that breaks like glass to further improve your accuracy. To protect and preserve your investment from the worst that Mother Nature can throw at you, this rifle has a durable NIC Industries Cerakote finish.
