The Circuit Judge delivers amazing versatility, accuracy and simplicity. It comes finished in a beautiful hardwood stock and includes the latest in modern features like a red fiber optic front sight, yoke detent, transfer bar and the Taurus Security System.
The company Rossi started in 1889, Taurus currently manufactures the Rossi brand. The Circuit Judge is hammer fired and has a hardwood stock and uses a short 18.5″ barrel available with either a smooth bore or a rifled bore. The Curicuit Judge is capable of firing .410 magnum shells, standard .410 shotshells, and .45 Colt. The Circuit Judge features a yoke detent system, which is a spring loaded latch attached to the yoke (or arm) of the cylinder. This ensures the cylinder is firmly secured within the frame and is beneficial when alternating from heavy to light loads. The action uses a transfer bar system where the hammer strikes a flat piece of metal that presses the firing pin instead of directly on the firing pin. Circuit Judge’s have fiber optic sights that are brightly colored and easy to see.
