The patented transfer bar mechanism provides an unparalleled measure of security, while the peg-style grip frame easily accommodates custom grips. The recoil cushioning Hogue Tamer Monogrip with an internal recoil cushion helps reduce the impact of powerful loads. The Super Redhawk Alaskan also has dual chambering, corrosion-resistant stainless steel finish, cold hammer-forged barrel, and an adjustable rear sight and fixed, replaceable insert ramp front. This Ruger Alaskan model is chambered in .454 Casull and has a 2.5″ barrel and black grip.
